optimization mod

A performance-oriented entry. Treat gains as something to test on your own machine or server, not as guaranteed.

Perf

optimization mod Overview

Performance mods should be handled with more evidence than hype. The right test is a baseline, the same save or server load, then one change at a time while watching logs, FPS, memory, and player reports.

Performance Medium risk Needs Review Source page live; verify V3 branch

Before You Install

  • Check the source page. Confirm the current game branch, install side, files, and author notes.
  • Test on a copy. Do not make the first test on a live save or public server.
  • Use the main workflow. Measure baseline FPS, server tick feel, memory use, errors, and visual side effects.
  • Write server rules first. Explain files, permissions, and rollback before players join.

Risk Note

This page is a wiki-style reading entry, not a download page. 7DTD Signal does not host MOD files. Use the author's own page or the accepted distribution route for files, permissions, and changelogs.
