SMX Overview

SMX is useful for players who want a different interface, HUD, or menu layout. UI MODs usually do not rewrite your save, but they can break after game UI, XUi, or dependency changes.

Before You Install

Match the branch. UI files are version-sensitive. Treat older UI packages as unreviewed after major updates.
Check modules. HUD, menu, and UI parts may install separately and may have dependency order.
Test with EAC rules. Some UI changes can affect multiplayer expectations or anti-cheat rules.
Use a clean client test. Confirm the game loads and menus work before joining a server.
